Voucher Sample Envelope

This process looks very complicated but is really very straightforward.

There are 4 simple folds needed to create the Voucher Envelope

Although this demonstration uses an A4 sheet of paper

smaller envelopes can be made.

Many collectors use Voucher Envelopes for all of their specimens.

Important:

1. If you send a sample to the British Bryological Society or a Vc County Recorder for recording and/or identification, you will need to use a Voucher Envelope.

2. Remember to write your data on the data panel area before you insert

a sample into the envelope or you may damage the sample.

3. When you insert a sample into the envelope, ensure it is completely inside the voucher pocket or you may damage it when folding the envelope to close it.
